COMMERCIAL & ADVERTISING PHOTOGRAPHER
Additional Skills: Photo Retouching
I have a passion for stunning images. It is that one thing which actually reaches me when so much else falls painfully short. Art is what drives me. I am one of those people who have had the subscription to Vogue magazine since I was 14 years old. Photography and design have been the fodder of my intellectual diet since Avedon’s Calvin Klein ads of Kate Moss and Co. first ran in the mid 90s.

I currently act as Senior Project Manager for a high-end photo booth company, popularized by its proprietary Bullet Time technology, an activation producing a 180 (up to 360) degree rotating GIF of every shot. As Senior Project Manager, I’m primarily responsible for coordinating with project team members, venue managers, technical staff, clients, and agency intermediaries, to ensure the smooth execution of each event activation. With clients like the NFL, Amazon, and Warner Brothers, the margin for error is virtually non-existent. When I’m not behind the lens at an event, I’m designing graphics, print assets, multimedia gifs, or a new marketing pitch deck.
In addition to my work with Matrix Custom House, I have more than a decade of on-the-job photography experience as a freelance photographer specializing in editorial fashion, and just as many years of digital retouching. I blazed my own path building my business, teaching myself Photoshop in the process. I focused efforts on fashion and beauty retouching in order to grow as an artist and ultimately get my work published in books and magazines. It was this era of my career in which I advanced the most in breadth of my Photoshop expertise.
At this point in my trajectory I consider myself a well-rounded asset possessing both technical knowledge as well as the management and administrative skills to get the job done right and on time! My strengths are a wealth of experience in photography, both in digital and film formats as well as alternative processes, a honed eye, strong retouching skills and much passion. Thank you so much for your consideration. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me with any questions. I look forward to hearing from you with any potential opportunities I could be of assistance with.
Respectfully,
Stephanie Edmark
